• Bug#266214: centericq: CenterICQ fiendishly devours apostrophes sent fr

    From Adam C. Emerson@1:229/2 to All on Tue Aug 17 04:10:07 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: centericq
    Version: 4.11.0-1
    Severity: normal

Apostrophes from users of GAIM, however, seem to make it rhgouh
unscathed. This is only for the ICQ transport, as far as I can
ascertain. I had my Trillian-using friend send me a multitude of
ampersands, double-quotes, brackets (angle, curly, and square), and all
the punctuation on the top row, and it all seemed to come through.
