    Package: perl-base
    Version: 5.6.1-8.7
    Severity: normal
    Tags: woody

    Hi,

    while tring to use IO::Socket::SSL on woody i noticed an strange
    behaviour. Perl aborted the compilation of an simple script which only
    has one statement "use IO::Socket::SSL;".

    As perl says this ist related to POSIX.pm and this is part of perl-base
    i report this bug against this package. If this is not correct please
    let me know.

    You can reproduce this bug on every (at least the two i've access)
    woody box (up-to-date). On SID this works as expected.

    daniel@alice:~$ perl -Tw -m"IO::Socket::SSL" -e "exit 0;"
    Insecure $ENV{PATH} while running with -T switch at ../../lib/POSIX.pm (autosplit into ../../lib/auto/POSIX/getcwd.al) line 667.
    Compilation failed in require.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted.

    thanks
    Daniel
