• Bug#266108: tirc: alias doesn't work as expected

From Georg Neis@1:229/2 to All on Mon Aug 16 20:40:12 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: tirc
    Version: 1.2-10
    Severity: normal

    After executing
    /alias h "help $*"
I expect that I can use "h" as a synonym for "help". However,
    /h <any_command>
    displays always this text:

*** No help available on this command
    *** Usage: /HELP <command>
+ Displays a brief help text on the specified command explaining its
+ purpose and syntax. Help is available on the following commands:
+ ADMIN ALIAS AWAY BYE CLEAR CLIST
    [...]

    Regards, Georg
