It just gives error dialog that says: "Host not found". Igf you try the same URL with any WWW-browser, it works fine.
Do you use your own name server (localhost) or some external one? Did you changed anything in /etc/hosts or /etc/host.conf?
I use external name server. /etc/hosts has just these lines uncommented:
127.0.0.1 localhost
130.234.191.114 heresy.ainola.jyu.fi heresy

/etc/host.conf has just these lines:
