    I disagree: If e.g. anybody wants include not only subset of fonts
    into his pdf/ps he has to edit the map-files.

    Cannot font subsetting be disabled by some other configuration file? And
    what could be the purpose of including unused glyphs?

    Can you give an example and/or an explanation on what to do with the map
    files?
