• Bug#266021: ifupdown: manual method not available for IPv6

From Pierre THIERRY@1:229/2 to All on Mon Aug 16 13:00:20 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: ifupdown
    Version: 0.6.4-4.8
    Severity: normal

The manual method would be a great help in configuring IPv6 within
ifupdown (see #168776), but it's only available for IPv4.

I do not understand this bug report. With manual, ifupdown does
_nothing_ besides calling the scripts from /etc/network/if-*.d

What should be changed to support ipv6?

    Greetings
    Marc
