    Severity: serious

    There was an error while trying to autobuild your package:

    Automatic build of mtr_0.63-1 on sarti by sbuild/hppa 1.170.5
    Build started at 20040816-0127

    [...]

    ** Using build dependencies supplied by package:
    Build-Depends: libncurses-dev, autoconf, automake1.5, debhelper (>= 2.2.12), libgtk2.0-dev

    [...]

    **** The following central src deps are (probably) missing:
    libtool, libglib1.2-dev (>= 1.2.0), libgtk1.2-dev (>= 1.2.10-4)

    automake1.5 has been removed from the archive.

    I need help with this.

    Yes, I can just not build-depend on automake and hope that no one ever needs
    to touch anything, and that would let me close the bug report for now, but given our dedication towards keeping source in its preferred form for modification I don't think that's a long-term solution.

    Mtr upstream uses automake1.5 to build. I need someone to help me and Rogier convert things over to use 1.7 or 1.8.

    Any volunteers?
