• Bug#265997: xchat 2.4.0 is out

From Modestas Vainius@1:229/2 to All on Mon Aug 16 10:10:09 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: xchat
    Version: 2.0.10-0.1
    Severity: wishlist

This version includes several design changes. Highlights are:

    o Channel tabs sorted alphabetically.
o New, simpler, server list window.
    o Better organized preferences window.
    o New sound event preferences.
    o Socks 5 authentication.

    * The color scheme has been changed to use a white background.

Although it does not seem to be something major at the first glance
(despite the change of the major version number) but it would be nice
to have the latest greatest xchat in debian.

    Hi,

Although it does not seem to be something major at the first glance
(despite the change of the major version number) but it would be nice
to have the latest greatest xchat in debian.

I don't know if we shouldn't delay this update to post-sarge.

    Greetings,
    Erich Schubert

Yes, no problem. I'll start using it as soon as it reaches mirrors.
