Bochs hangs while attemping to start, last output line is:

Waiting for gdb connection on localhost:1234

Reverting to bochs/testing (2.1.1-5) fixes the problem. Checked the
changelogs but saw no obvious reason for the difference.

This is a special feature that is disabled by default. As of 2.1rel-3 it can only be enabled as an option in bochsrc. Please check wether your .bochsrc enables this.

I don't understand how could the changes after -5 could affect this...
