There is an option in HTML Export, on the Album page, as to whether you
want the target images to be resized or not. When this is unticked, I
feel it should simply copy the original image files, but it is not doing
so:
For an album containing a mixture of portrait and landscape oriented
jpegs at 2048x1536, the portrait ones are being resized to 1152x1536
(the originals are 1536x2048). Worse, even for those that aren't being
resized (the landscape ones), it is not copying the original file but
seems to be generating a new one at the same size, leading to loss of
quality caused by pointless re-compressing.
Eg:
Original file:
-rw-r--r-- 1 jammin staff 688618 Jul 31 12:18 DSCN0507.JPG
File generated by HTML export (same dimensions):
-rw-r--r-- 1 jammin staff 496050 Aug 11 21:26 DSCN0507.JPG.jpg
