It unfortunately breaks the build of all packages which depend on both libpcap0.7 and libnet0, because libpcap-dev pulls libpcap0.7-dev,
libnet0-dev pulls libpcap0.8-dev and libpcap0.7-dev and libpcap0.8-dev conflict with each other.
i'm sorry for that, i didn't figure there have been a conflicting
dependency problem.
Apparently the number of affected packages is small (snort, libnids1) so
we can update build-deps for them but in the future, a little bit of coordination would be appreciated. :-)
of course.
thank you for having bugged me a little. it is a recent matter for me
to have other depending on my packages and my way to think at packages
lacks some of the required coordination aspects :)
