• Bug#235592: bad printing problem confirmed

Damn, now I'm affected by the bad printing problem reported in #235592.
When I print www.debian.org, the font is rendered san-serif not serif, and spaces between words are lost. Just as reported by the others.

The result is the same whether I print directly to print (from firefox) or whether I print to file (mozilla.ps) and view using gv.
    Print Preview, however, looks fine.

I have the offending postscript file, if it's needed. Yes, it has the references to URWGothicL (and other fonts), see also Debian bug #264983.

This is using Xprint 009.001 (on Debian, 0.0.9.final.001-2) and firefox
    0.9.3-2 (a recent upgrade).

Since Xprint was still working OK recently, I suppose firefox (the more
recent upgrade) could be the culprit.

I had played around with font preferences a day or two ago, but I put the preferences back again, or thought I had (it says "serif" under the serif entry).

I forget, how do I check again that firefox is compiled for xft?

    Drew
