Subject: Bug#265782: lynx-cur: update-alternatives: both lynx-cur and lynx.cur? Date: Sun, 15 Aug 2004 04:06:02 +0800
I'm not sure both lynx-cur and lynx.cur should show up here:
# update-alternatives --all
There are 4 alternatives which provide `www-browser'.
Selection Alternative
-----------------------------------------------
*+ 1 /usr/bin/lynx-cur
2 /usr/bin/elinks
3 /usr/bin/w3m
4 /usr/bin/lynx.cur
Well it's intentional. The lynx.cur command comes from
lynx-cur package and the lynx-cur command comes from
lynx-cur-wrapper package so the current state of alternatives
seems natural to me.
Note also that the command lynx is defined through alternatives
so it could be a bit ambiguous to use lynx for alternatives
of www-browser.
