thanks
OpenSSH has a 'UsePAM' option in sshd_config which prevents ssh-krb5
from starting. This should probably be checked for and gotten rid
of, because it causes a remote ssh daemon change to silently fail.
It's not very silent for me. When I install ssh-krb5 it complains
loudly about the UsePAM option left over from the ssh package, and
aborts the installation:
/etc/ssh/sshd_config: line 74: Bad configuration option: UsePAM /etc/ssh/sshd_config: terminating, 1 bad configuration options
dpkg: error processing ssh-krb5 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
ssh-krb5
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
This happens in sarge with ssh 3.8.1p1-4 and ssh-krb5 3.6.1p2-5.
