• Bug#188503: kino: Unpredictable "Max Headroom" effect in preview window

From Tyler 'Crackerjack' MacDonald@1:229/2 to Daniel Kobras on Sat Aug 14 21:20:05 2004

    Daniel,

I havent had a problem recently, but I'm using a different video card, new version of XFree86, etc, and actually havent had much time to do video production lately. Close the bug, if I experience it again, I will re-report
it with all my new information.

    Cheers,
    Tyler

Every so often when I'm in the preview window and I hit play, the preview
will play in a very pecular manner; it will play every 1 second block 3 to 5
times before moving onto the next, making the video and audio very very strange sounding and looking. Sometimes, it is impossible to stop the preview short of closing the program and re-opening it.

Can you please tell me whether you still experience this kind of weird preview behaviour with the current version 0.70-1 of the kino package?

I'm currently digging through the outstanding bugs on the kino package.
You apparently haven't followed up on this message. Did recent versions
of kino still show these odd effects from time to time for you?

    Regards,

    Daniel.
