    Hi Martin,

this issue is a real problem - and it is a problem in the case that only functions were added.

The problem is that libiodbc2 3.51.2-3 accidentally had a shlibs file
    that created unversioned dependencies.

Note that the dependencies of libqt3c102-odbc in unstable are currently fulfilled by the woody libiodbc2 although it might not work correctly
    due to added libiodbc2 functionality.

To prevent autobuilders to use the version of libiodbc2 with broken
shlibs, please either update the libiodbc2-dev build dependency to
    = 3.51.2-4) or add a
    Build-Conflicts: libiodbc2-dev (= 3.51.2-3)

Severity set to grave since broken dependencies are RC.

    cu
    Adrian

Steve Langasek (kudos to him) confirmed that Qt3 nowadays does not make use of any functions that were newly added. I am downgrading this bug.
