    Package: wnpp
    Severity: normal

The current maintainer of lzop, Paolo Molaro <[email protected]>, is
apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package now.
If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- see http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

    Description: A real-time compressor
lzop is a compressor similar to gzip. Its main advantages over gzip
are much higher compression and decompression speed.
lzop was designed with the following goals in mind:
    1) reliability
    2) speed (both compression and decompression)
    3) reasonable drop-in compatibility to gzip
    4) portability

Justification: Same as for his other packages, see e.g. #206884
