Package: anon-proxy
Version: 00.02.29-1
Severity: wishlist
When installing anon-proxy, it is "recommended to put the following lines in your .bashrc and .profile" (here, I chose port 4001):
export http_proxy="
http://127.0.0.1:4001"
export HTTP_PROXY=$http_proxy
I don't see why anon-proxy doesn't do that itself, and I think that removing this program should remove those lines too: I spent much time exploring my system because I had forgotten about those lines in ~/.bashrc and ~/.profile, and I couldn't use the web anymore.
