Package: glib2.0
Severity: important
http://bugs.debian.org/257456 concerns a severe problem with gconf's
operation that went away after an upgrade of libglib2 from 2.4.2.1 to
2.4.5-2. It seems like a good idea to tighten glib2.0's shlibs (by bumping shver in debian/rules) so that gconf can be rebuilt to require a more recent glib.
