    Comments/Problems:

    Onboard SATA controller is ICH5. Booting with linux (2.4 kernel) finds CD-Rom drive, and hard drives, but errors on reboot. Booting with linux26 (2.6 kernel) finds the hard drives as sd devices, but fails to locate a valid
    CD-Rom drive. Same behavior observed on a ICH5 i875 chipset Shuttle XPC machine.
