    Package: licq
    Version: 1.2.7-11
    Severity: important

    Hi,

all contacts appear as offline even if the are online. Messages can be
sent to them without any problems.

May be a change from icq as trillian seems to have the same problem: http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/forums/showthread.php?s=a395749bc690de45c1a29cd214432b33&threadid=58606

    Regards,

    Patrick Ruckstuhl

It's apparently a protocol change that has happened recently. It's
    already being analyzed.

Other clients like mICQ are also affected. The problem affects quite
random some accounts, even if ICQ Lite is used. Very likely a change on
the ICQ end. The last time I encountered it with an account which was
only used with ICQ Lite it went away after half a day...
But still the Open Source community doesn't know any facts. Trillian is
    closed source, anyway.
