When the daemon is 'restarted' it fails because of a missing '-d'
argument in the init script. A separate 'stop', then 'start' works fine.
The problem can be corrected by inserting '-d' in line 64 of /etc/init.d/nagios-nrpe-server, analogous to line 32.
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1, kernel 2.4.26-1 and libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13.
