• Bug#265530: psgml mode fails to read catalog

From Ross Burton@1:229/2 to All on Fri Aug 13 17:30:16 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: xemacs21
    Version: 21.4.15-5
    Severity: important

PSGML mode is failing to lookup SGML/XML DTDs in the catalogue.

This is due to sgml-base moving the location of the SGML catalog, previously it was in /usr/lib/sgml/catalog but now it is in /etc/sgml/catalog.

I've worked around the problem by adding:

    ...
    '(sgml-local-catalogs (quote ("/etc/sgml/catalog" "/usr/lib/sgml/catalog"))) ...

    to my custom.el.

Please please *please* fix this in Sarge, if SGML editing didn't work out of the
box it would be very sad.

    Ross
