• Bug#265432: esound: sound is accelerated and noisy

From Didrik Pinte@1:229/2 to All on Fri Aug 13 10:20:13 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: esound
    Version: 0.2.29-2
    Severity: important

Hi since the update to 0.2.29-2, my Gnome sound is noisy and
accelerated. I've changed my XMMS output plugin to ALSA and it's working
fine now. So it's clearly a problem with the esound package.

The login and logout sounds have the same problem.

I can send you all my configuration file. I'll be offline until tonight
    and the 22th.
