If I zoom into the track far enough at any position, it displays the beginning of the track instead of the section I'd selected. I don't know whether the degree of zoom I selected is respected.

I was not able to reproduce this bug. Can you provide more details?

* Does this happen every time you zoom in to any Audacity track, or only
with certain projects?

* How are you zooming in when this happens? With the toolbar button,
the Zoom tool, the keyboard controls, all of the above..?

It seems to do it whenever I try it. I've only used it with a single stereo track I'd imported from a wav file.

* How are you zooming in when this happens? With the toolbar button,
the Zoom tool, the keyboard controls, all of the above..?

I'm doing it with the "zoom to selection" menu item.
