Hmmmm. Perhaps what I was thinking of is that "convert" already
handles *topgm and pgmto* -- and it would be nice if it recognized
imgv directly, calling out to imgvtopgm if given the right filetype or extension. That certainly sounds like it would be useful, though from
the looks of ldd and strings output, convert doesn't actually work
that way, so maybe the only way this makes sense is "add imgv support
to imagemagick". Consider that, and then feel free to close the bug;
I don't use imgv support at all anymore (my current palm hardware all
handles full color jpegs anyway :-) _Mark_
