    Comments/Problems:

    When configuring the X server after the reboot, I selected /dev/input/mice
    as the input device for the mouse. But when starting the X server, it complained
    that it couldn't open /dev/input/mice. I checked in /dev and the file was there...
    Trying with other programs (gpm) gave the same result. Presumably the module for
    /dev/input/mice wasn't getting loaded by the kernel installed by debian-installer
    1.0rc1.

    Also when starting the partion step I got some kind of warning about being careful
    and all that, with two options. I'm sorry I don't remember the specific screen. It was
    just a bit weird to be getting this since I was installing on a brand new (empty) disk.
    I understand the need to be careful, but I think that if the disk block containing
    the partion table is all zero, it's safe to assume that the disk is empty and jump
    straight to partitioning...
