I don't know what to do about your installation report. You marked
several steps as failing (configure network, partition hard drive,
create file systems, mount partitions, install base system, install boot loader), and marked others with this strange "X" that means absolutely
nothing:
Base System Installation Checklist:
Initial boot worked: [X]
Configure network HW: [E]
Config network: [E]
Detect CD: [X]
Load installer modules: [X]
Detect hard drives: [X]
Partition hard drives: [E]
Create file systems: [E]
Mount partitions: [E]
Install base system: [E]
Install boot loader: [E]
Reboot: [X]
[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it
And all you gave us to go on is a fairly useless dmesg output, the only interesting part is at the end:
VFS: Can't find ext2 filesystem on dev fd(2,0).
cramfs: wrong magic
Unable to identify CD-ROM format.
So maybe you had a problem with your CD drive, but without some english
text describing your problem, I'm afraid we can't help you. We're not
mind readers.
