partman and rerun it, the partition table is still not recognised?
If this is so then probably parted doesn't recognise this partition
table as well? This is good - you will be able to create a valuable bug
report against parted with dumped partition table.
If this is not so, then we have at least some workaround that can be
documented in the ERRATA.
