Version: 4.32.5-1
Severity: important
Hello again !
4.32.5-1 upgrade hung at:
Replacing config file /etc/MailScanner/reports/cz/languages.conf with new version
4.32.5-2 upgrade broke with:
mv: `/usr/share/MailScanner/MailScanner/CustomFunctions/BigLogging.pm' and `/etc/MailScanner/CustomFunctions/BigLogging.pm' are the same file
# ls -l /usr/share/MailScanner/MailScanner/ | grep ^l
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Aug 12 13:35 Custom -> /etc/MailScanner/Custom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 Aug 10 11:32 CustomConfig.pm -> /etc/MailScanner/CustomConfig.pm
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 Aug 10 11:32 CustomFunctions -> /etc/MailScanner/CustomFunctions
Guard against this, it is the breaker of upgrades and systems alike.
Which line of the changelog refers to this change?
Is this kind of
'move the users code around without so much as a by your leave'
thing intended to go into stable ?
Regards,
Paddy
