On July 15th the maintainer said the problems with this package would
be fixed the following day. Since that point there has been no fix and
no further communication, I requested a response on Monday 9th Aug,
there was no reply. It is my intention to do an NMU to fix this bug by
applying part of the patch previously submitted by Chris Cheney.
I will do the upload on Friday 13th Aug if there is no response or
action from the maintainer. It will be placed into the DELAYED+3day
queue. With sarge fast approaching release time I really want to get
this bug closed so am-utils can go back into sarge.
