package: mozilla
version: 2:1.7.2-2
I have to call mozilla-1.7.2 to run mozilla. Same happened with 1.6(mozilla-1.6).
gradall://tmp/s# ls /usr/bin/mozilla -l
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Jul 24 2003 /usr/bin/mozilla -> /etc/alternatives/mozilla
gradall://tmp/s# ls /etc/alternatives/mozilla -l
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 May 13 14:51 /etc/alternatives/mozilla -> /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird
gradall://tmp/s# ls /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird
ls: /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird: No such file or directory
try update-alternatives --auto mozilla

No. I have never manipulated update-alternatives for mozilla. I have
never
changed the symlink manually.
This is a bug in the maintainer scripts, and/or the package. It must be fixed
there.

do you have any idea to fix this?
do you have any idea to fix this?
How should I? It's something your scripts created wrong, and I don't have all
versions of your scripts.
How wrong?

How should I know? I don't have all versions of all the scripts you created.
First, start off by looking at the versions that dealt with a file called /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird. Then, work from there.

Is this related?
(fixed) Bug#205310: mozilla-firebird doesn't remove its mozilla
alternative on deconfigure/remove
