• Bug#265159: pylint: commandline option for specifying custom rc file

    From Bastian Kleineidam@1:229/2 to All on Thu Aug 12 02:10:09 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: pylint
    Severity: wishlist

    Hi,

    a commandline option with the ability to specify my own config file
    would be handy.
    For example:
    $ pylint -F config/mypylintrc mymodule.py
    uses config/mypylintrc instead of the hardcoded ~/.pylintrc.

    Greetings, Bastian

    I'll forward the request upstream. In the meantime, note that you can
    use the PYLINTRC environment variable to specify the path to this
    configuration file.
