    Since I can't see anything wrong with having a reference in SEE ALSO to something which may only be optionally installed (even if it's non-free), I'm
    closing this bug with no further action taken.

    Yes but I recall that "there will not be a compress program available"
    because of a patent. Anyway, I am mainly wanting to warn people that
    they won't be able to compress things they uncompressed on Debian.

    They uncompress the boss's files but here he comes now...
    compress: command not found
