Package: greylistd
Version: 0.5.3
I'm trying to get greylistd working with Woody and the Exim4 backport
available at:
deb
http://www.logic.univie.ac.at/~ametzler/debian/exim4manpages/ woody/
I have already fixed one problems on my own: line 1 of /usr/sbin/greylistd should be changed to
#!/usr/bin/env python2.2
because Woody's version of python doesn't know the definition of
'True'. Obviously this is only a fix to get it working on Woody. Maybe
you could add a little section in the README.Debian file to explain what
to do to get greylistd working with Woody? Surely I'm not the only Woody
user who wants to use it? Maybe I should just drop Woody and go with
unstable, there don't seem to be any developers left running Woody :/
Now when I run greylistd, I get:
greylistd
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/sbin/greylistd", line 448, in ?
startup()
File "/usr/sbin/greylistd", line 420, in startup
loadData()
File "/usr/sbin/greylistd", line 342, in loadData
for (key, string) in parser.items(word):
AttributeError: ConfigParser instance has no attribute 'items'
Unfortunately I don't know Python, so I'm not sure what this is about.
I'm guessing another Python version incompatability.
