    Hi,

trying to build the package in a clean environment (pbuilder chroot), I
    got:

    .......

icmp_echo_id.h:58: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,

a workaround which succeeded on i386 was to compile without optimization
-O0 worked in my newly-updated pbuilder chroot environment.

    I hope this will help

Thanks for the tip! I've uploaded a version of the package which does not
use optimisation. Most probably the real problem is some invalid C++ in the xprobe code and not gcc, but I was not very enthusiastic trying to fix the
    code itself.

    Cheers,

    Richard
