From CM Bellers@1:229/2 to All on Sat Aug 21 18:00:17 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: php-imap4
    Version: 4.3.4-4
    Severity: grave
    Justification: renders package unusable

    -- System Information:
    Debian Release: 3.1
    APT prefers testing
    APT policy: (500, 'testing')
    Architecture: i386 (i686)
    Kernel: Linux 2.6.7

After apt-get upgrade-ing the system this morning I tried to install
php4-imap on my 'testing' release box.

This is the transcript of what happens:

    pacman:~# apt-get install php4-imap

After unpacking 160kB of additional disk space will be used.

subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10
    Errors were encountered while processing:
    php4-imap
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

So, that's not working. apt-get check shows no broken deps on the
system, there's no other known problems.

I dpkg --purged the package and tried to re-install, no go. I
redownloaded the package manually and tried to install via dpkg, no go.
