Hi,
The problem happens when the DHCP server fails to specify a lease
period or specifies
an infinite one.
When this happens the dhcpcd client assumes that it doesn't need to
renew and exits.
The user can bypass this behaviour by implicitly specifying a lease
period when invoking
dhcpcd. The option is: -l lease_period_in_seconds
