This may not get changed for sarge now, we have a fairly big log jam
on alpha built up behind libtiff and I don't dare do a new upload
for a matter this trivial before that clears.
I could even argue that this behaviour is in fact correct, since
wxPython has indeed not been updated since the 2.4.2.4 release,
the only changes to 2.4.2.6 were in the C++ lib and build system...
But that would be disingenuous, the reality is this was an oversight.
The most minor number has historically been a phantom that Robin and
I added and incremented at our convenience, it looks like he finally
made it official (read: extended the automation to include it) in
wxPython recently. It's been added to the main build scripts in 2.5
now as well, so I guess we might backport some of that eventually too.
Anyway, I likewise don't see too much potential for disaster here,
but thanks for picking it up. Most probably though, the next time
the wxPython version is bumped it will be to 2.4.3.something.
