• Bug#265083: lessdisks: please adopt new upstream version

From Vagrant Cascadian@1:229/2 to All on Wed Aug 11 19:20:09 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: lessdisks
    Version: 0.4.6.99.cvs20040424-2.1
    Severity: wishlist

lessdisks has made a number of significant improvements since cvs20040421.

i believe adopting upstream lessdisks would likely solve the following
    bugs:

    #247559: lessdisks-xterminal: fails to set up X
    #247576: lessdisks: terminal setup fails
#255313: lessdisks: lessdisk-setup fails to download macaddress from http #245944: lessdisks: Please rewrite the debconf templates

it also would be simple to avoid re-implementing the following bugs:

#248082: lessdisks: terminal configuration directory not created
#248080: lessdisks-terminal: initrd and mknbi not mutually exclusive
    #248079: lessdisks: uses unofficial archive

many of the issues in the TODO.Debian file have also been resolved or
    made irrelevent.

version 0.5.2c is current upstream, source can be downloaded at:

    http://lessdisks.net/debian/current/lessdisks

    thanks for maintaining lessdisks.

    live well,
    vagrant

    I know...

No promise, but I expect to upgrade within the next couple of days.

What I mean is: You are hereby permitted to annoy me loudly if no
activity (other than the current) on this bug after a few days .-)

Well, thanks for creating it for me to (re)package and maintain :-)
