• Bug#267104: cron-apt: please consider adding -qq to action.d/0-update

From Marc Haber@1:229/2 to All on Fri Aug 20 20:40:11 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: cron-apt
    Version: 0.0.30
    Severity: wishlist

    Hi,

please consider adding -qq to the apt-get update call done by action.d/0-update. The output of apt-get update being in essentially
random order (depending on in which order the download servers answer)
makes it difficult for diff to only send notifications if something
    has really happened.

If you'd rather not change the update call, please mention in /etc/cron-apt/config comments that it might be a good idea to do that
change if one intends to use mailon=changes.

    Greetings
    Marc

Totally agree. I was not aware that it existed a -qq call to apt-get.

    Will do that.
