    Gah, didn't receive the previous mail to this bug.

    No problem, I was wondering why I didn't get a reply, so thats why I
    was giving it some space before I closed it.

    Yes, it still sometimes happens, but only when run inside screen.
    It doesn't appear to happen when torrents are waiting to be checked at the startd.

    So, you run any of the btcurses utilities within screen, you wait
    until the torrents are finished being checked and torrenting happens.
    Then you shrink the window (X window? screen window?) and you get the
    following tracebacks... is this correct?

    Just managed to get the following from just downloadcurses:

    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/RawServer.py", line 122, in listen_forever
    events = self.sockethandler.do_poll(period)
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/SocketHandler.py", line 342, in do_poll
    r = self.poll.poll(t*timemult)
    File "/usr/bin/btdownloadcurses", line 116, in winch_handler
    curses.endwin()
    error: endwin() returned ERR

    and this from launchmanycurses:
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/launchmanycore.py", line 198, in __init__
    self.handler.listen_forever()
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/ServerPortHandler.py", line 181, in listen_forever
    self.rawserver.listen_forever(self)
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/RawServer.py", line 122, in listen_forever
    events = self.sockethandler.do_poll(period)
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 100, in winch_handler
    curses.endwin()
    error: endwin() returned ERR

    Here's another trackback produced by shrinking the window to about 60x12:
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 310, in ?
    curses_wrapper(LaunchManyWrapper, config)
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/curses/wrapper.py", line 44, in wrapper
    res = func(stdscr, *rest)
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 270, in LaunchMan
    LaunchMany(config, CursesDisplayer(scrwin))
    File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/BitTornado/launchma
    Output.exception(data.getvalue())
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 265, in exception
    self.message('SYSTEM ERROR - EXCEPTION GENERATED')
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 252, in message
    self._display_messages()
    File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 258, in _display_
    self.statuswin.addnstr(winpos, 0, s, self.mainwinw)
    _curses.error: addnstr() returned ERR

    micah

    Hope this helps,

    Euan.
