• Bug#267069: ssh-krb5 doesn't reuse ptys under 2.6, messes up utmp

    I run ssh-krb5 under a 2.6 kernel and finger shows weird things
    like:

    finger: /dev//pts/1087: No such file or directory
    finger: /dev//pts/1092: No such file or directory
    finger: /dev//pts/1256: No such file or directory
    finger: /dev//pts/1489: No such file or directory
    Login: herder Name: Niklas Herder
    Directory: /home/mars/dsv/herder Shell: /bin/bash
    On since Wed Aug 18 16:13 (CEST) on pts/1087 from l590.dsv.su.se
    (messages off)

    No Plan.

    According to #254902, it has already been fixed in the ssh package.
