    Hi,

    I did not install bacula-console-gnome because was built using the old
    GNOME 1.4.
    Great was my surprise while reading the documentation from our bacula-doc package, that upstream does support GNOME 2, and in fact the docs call the
    old version "deprecated and no longer maintained".

    It is unacceptable IMO for us to release bacula with a GUI frontend that
    is not even supported anymore by it's upstream maintainers, if a newer supported version is available.

    Correct. Just for Bacula-1.32f

    It is unacceptable IMO for us to release bacula with a GUI frontend that
    is not even supported anymore by it's upstream maintainers, if a newer >supported version is available.


    If i polish the remaining problems with Bacula-director-pgsql.postinst
    today, version 1.34.5-1, including both gnome-console compiled against
    gnome2 and wx-console (wx-windows2.4), could be uploaded tomorrow. That
    depends on how much time i can devote to it this evening.
