  • Bug#264930: mozilla 1.7.2-1 quite buggy

    I upgraded my mozilla yesterday. Now, forms that used to remember my name/password no longer do so; also, I always get a "Please enter a username" for the form; hitting ok does not dismiss that popup(it is not javascript generated).

    The cookie manager no longer functions; it shows no cookies. However, the
    site I develop for work is session based, and even if I click 'remove all cookies', it still says I am logged in.

    I am marking this as serious, because I don't think it should be released in this state.

    could you please check
    1. permission of profile dierctory
    2. permission of <profiles directory>/cookie.txt
    3. disk limit (full or quota)

    and please try with new profile.

    could you please check
    1. permission of profile dierctory
    2. permission of <profiles directory>/cookie.txt
    3. disk limit (full or quota)

    permissions are all fine, no problem on disk space.

    Tried again with 1.7.2-2, and have no issues.
