Followup-For: Bug #236600
Hi.
This behaviour is really not a bug, as can be seen by reading question 2 in /usr/share/doc/jed/README.Debian .
There is, however, another problem related to this: by default, jed should
load /usr/share/jed/lib/paste_mode.sl at startup, because (if the name of
the function does not mistake me) it's called by /etc/jed-init.d/00debian.sl and this last one is loaded by default, as can be seen with 'jed -batch' (or
by reading /usr/share/doc/jed/README.Debian-startup). This, for a reason I don't understand, does not happen, and should prevent the "odd" behaviour descripted that started this bug report.
Sorry for any mistake I could have done.
Regards,
Gabriele :-)
