I'm also running xmms v1.2.10-1, and will confirm the bug.
I tested this bug with a song of 3 minutes, 19 seconds length, the
'pause' button works fine until the clock reads 3:10, after which the
button doesn't work.
Then I tested a song of length 2:56, and the limit was 2:50.
And another song with length 1:49, its limit was 1:45.
Converting minutes to seconds, we get:
length in M:S length in S pause limit percent --------------------------------------------------------------------
3:19 199 190 95.4%
2:56 176 170 96.5%
1:49 109 105 96.3%
Looks like 95%-ish?
Tried it with a 51 minute '.flac', and there was NO pause limit. The
first three songs were all off a non-data CDR I had in '/dev/scd0'.
Tried a 30 second '.mp3', no pause limit. A 2:15 '.mp3' also had no
limit, and neither did a 5:32 '.mp3'.
Maybe it's got something to do with CDs.
