Please add '-gcj' to the packagename, as this are gcj compiled java files, which will most probably only be used in a java context.
There is currently no policy on this, but as java libraries get '-java', jni libs '-jni' I would guess that gcj compiled packages should get '-gcj'.
A shared library implemented using Java and compiled natively does not
differ greatly from a shared library impleneted using any other
language. As such, I'm going to use the standard library packaging
policies and simply name the package lib$NAME$VERSION
