• Bug#264853: libswt-gtk3: please add -gcj to packagename

From Shaun Jackman@1:229/2 to All on Fri Aug 13 03:00:09 2004

Please add '-gcj' to the packagename, as this are gcj compiled java files, which will most probably only be used in a java context.

There is currently no policy on this, but as java libraries get '-java', jni libs '-jni' I would guess that gcj compiled packages should get '-gcj'.

A shared library implemented using Java and compiled natively does not
differ greatly from a shared library impleneted using any other
language. As such, I'm going to use the standard library packaging
policies and simply name the package lib$NAME$VERSION

    Cheers,
    Shaun
