hi mario,
i have a new version available at
http://piem.org/debian/ . it now
includes Nick Collins bbcut library, using option 2. it seems to work
quite well.
Frank Lichtenheld is also checking it, but let me know how it goes for
you. Also if you had the chance to try a build on sparc, that would be
really helpful.
cheers, piem

BBCut 1.3 from http://www.sicklincoln.org/code.htm is a very
useful library for SC3. I am pondering either
1. Packaging it as a separate source/binary package.
2. Including BBCut in the supercollider source/binary package.
Option 2 would make more sense since BBCut isn't very large
and a separate source/binary package pair probably is wasteful.
However, that would depend on you, the supercollider maintainer.
Are you interested in shipping BBCut with the standard Debian supercollider package?
