Is it possible to apply this patch, maybe with a comment to specify it's
a temporary work around. But about forgetting a dependency, it's the
maintainer problem: he should know which libs he needs.

Since only libraries which contain Ant tasks are in
/usr/share/ant1.6/lib and since Ant 1.6's new startup scheme also adds
all JARs in this directory to the class path, I think we can do this.

However, I don't have write access to CDBS's new version control system,
so I can't commit the fix. Colin, is it ok if I make a new upload based
    on 0.4.21-0.1?

    How is this bug going?

    Cheers,

I did not yet find time to learn arch, so I could not commit the fix.
    Maybe this weekend...

I'm planning anohter cdbs upload this week. I have ignored all the ant
patches so far, since I don't know how to test them. The ant folks
don't seem to have created a testsuite at all for cdbs.

If someone can step forward and so that they'll take the flak if the
patches are wrong, I'll cheerfully put them in for my upload (Probably
    on Friday)

    Tks,
    Jeff Bailey

The problem ist that until recently there was no way to run Ant with
free Java virtual machines, i.e. Debian packages in main. So tests would
have required a dependency on packages in non-free and CDBS would have
    to move to contrib.

Fortunately this has changed with GNU Classpath, Kaffe and SableVM. I
don't have time to work on CDBS until Saturday, so I'll either send you
a patch based on your upload or commit the fixes myself if I understand
    Arch until then.

You can safely include the one from #262861 and the solution described
in the last mail of #239128. Please don't include the patch from
    #232874, that's the wrong way.
